Commission - Hawkgirl by SeanRM Commission - Hawkgirl by SeanRM
A really fun commission for :iconcelamowari: of DC Comic's original Hawkgirl.

This one was a blast to do, and I managed to pull off a bunch of things that I don't usually do.

If you are interested in getting a commission of your own, note me.

UPDATE: Noticed something that bugged the crap out of me, and so I fixed it.

Nice job! I'm a long-time fan of the Golden Age (and Silver Age) Hawks. Who's with me for a Hawkman/Hawkgirl movie?!!

SO COOL. Love the buildings and the slight blur on them, it really makes Shiera look like she's zooming along. Plus, the muscles on her look great.

Thanks! I wanted to give her a build that showed she could kick some ass, but not full on She-Hulk muscles. (I always worry about finding that happy middle ground.)

Very nice. shame your watermark is so big, it takes away from the image.

Yeah, but I tried to make it as light as possible to lessen that.

I feel like I have a theme going now. :)

I really love what you did here, with the blurred motion and the proud wingspan. There's a real sense of flight even without the speed lines.

Plus, Shiera is a stone fox. As she should be. :D

Thanks! I wasn't sure if the motion blur would work, but it seemed like a good idea.
