Realized earlier that my gallery is choked with Marvel artwork, and there is almost no DC content. So I wanted to start doing some DC fanart to balance the scales. While this isn't a themed week, I think it is a good theme to revisit again and again, so here is the first of many Distinguished Competition pics.

I've always thought that a great formula for Mr. Mxyzptlk would be Bugs Bunny's bizarre douche-baggery mixed with George Burns's dry wit and charm.

And who needs Red Kryptonite when you have a Fifth Dimensional being?

Probably my favorite Superman villain he made things fun and completely insane through the whole silver age

I agree with you wholeheartedly! While not my favorite, Mxy is easily one of my top 5 Superman villains.

Not only is your Mxy appropriately casual about his mischief (lovin' the horrifed monster Supes), but he is sporting a dynamic Jimmy Durante schnozzle.

This guy is awesome.

I especially loved his portrayal in Super Friends. Makes me look forward to his appearances, though he didn't appear much.
