This week is all about expanding the universe of our favorite gals Hilly and Liz.
Bernadette is the owner of the local bookstore, and Liz's employer. She died about 20 years ago, but refused to move from her shop - now she haunts the place and keeps the business going. She is a pessimist, and tends to look on the dim side of "life". Being a ghost has its ups and downs, but not needing to sleep has allowed Bernadette the advantage of time to read every book in her shop. (Such encyclopedic knowledge of the books has made her store the go to place for students attending the University.Random Facts:
Her strong will and almost solid physical presence makes Bernadette attract will'o'wisps. She hates them, but they tend to buzz around her constantly.
She is corporeal enough to move objects, be seen, and with extreme focus she can make physical contact with the living.
Bernadette is unsure which she misses more; eating food, drinking alcohol, or having sex.
She used to own a video store next door to her book shop, but then she died... And then VHS died... And then rental stores died...
FFA-class* Ghosts take on the physical form of whatever they were wearing when they died. These "clothes" can be removed, but not changed. For this, Bernadette is thankful she died while trying to meet guys and not later in the night when she had planned to show one the "little orange number" she had bought at Victoria's Secret.
