Not all of my HU posts will be fanart, and today's is a great example of that.
I couldn't think of what to draw today, so I did a digital version of a scratch board. For those of you that don't know, a scratch board is an artboard coated in black that you carve away to reveal the white underneath.
The last time I did an actual scratch board was for an assignment in college that I barely passed. I couldn't wrap my head around doing just the highlights of the form and not drawing lines... As you can see - I did finally learn the lesson, but a couple of years too late for that particular assignment.

Nice! I always liked scratchboard. You did a great job defining the masses here and getting that wrinkled, craggy detail into his face.
