Heads Up 35by *SeanRM

Digital Art / Drawings / Sci-Fi

This idea popped into my head a few minutes before I was gonna go to bed, and I felt compelled to draw it.

I had fun doing this, and I think it turned out quite well. Definitely inspired by the robots of Shotaro Ishinomori, but with nobody in particular in mind.

Not entirely sure what kind of feelings this should evoke... What do you guys think?

Yeah, I'm totally getting a Robot Keiji vibe from this guy. It wouldn't take much to convince me that was who you intended it to be all along.

I get the feeling of melancholy or possibly even wonder. As far as it being K, maybe he's seeking out Mother?

I definitely see the basic resemblance to Robot Detective K.

Maybe he was just activated and after a day wandering about confused about his new existence, he experiences the cleansing effect of rain.

K is definitely a favorite of mine, and there is a definite resemblance. I would love to see a new series for K, a proper remake with the current special effects and costume budgets.

Me too. Janperson (which I have not seen much outside of a few isolated clips on youtube) is the closest we'll get, just like Metalder is basically Kikaider.
