Whether you like the anime, manga, live action version, or don’t really care for the series at all; there is an undeniable and iconic horror to the Colossal Titan’s first appearance.

The earth shudders violently, and a great swirling mass of smoke appears - and emerging from the mist a giant skinless hand grips the edge of the massive wall that was mankind’s only real defense, and then a gigantic face peers over the top of the wall.

This is how the nightmare begins...
