Here's the first of the cards I did for Rittenhouse's Marvel's Greatest Heroes 2012 set.

We were told to stick to former/current Avengers and were allowed to do a few of their villains. (I did a card for almost every Avengers member ever!)

I'm quite pleased with almost all of these, and I think I have easily surpassed my previous card works.

The lighting on these is just great--the special effects on Thor and Korvac alone are boggling.

Also, why have I never heard of Moon Dragon? She is BOSS.

Moondragon is an interesting character to me because she was a haughty bitch that everyone hated well before it was cool. And that was AFTER she switched sides and became a good guy.

Also, she was a bald chick even before that Star Trek movie.

Also also, she was originally named after a Blood, Sweat, and Tears song. [link]

She's a badass, and last I read she was kicking ass in space and dating Captain Marvel's sister. (Though I think they killed one of them, maybe both... Comic writers seem to enjoy killing characters I like.)
