A while back I learned about an artshow being held for the benifit of Bil Mantlo. Mantlo was responsible for writing my altime favorite comic series of all time, ROM Spaceknight. As such I jumped at the chance to contribute to the show and help out.

After a couple failed attempts caused me to miss out on the first show, I was fortunate enough to be asked to contribute this time.

It was a close one, but I'm really proud of how this turned out. I'm really glad to be able to show my love of this classic series and help raise money for the man that made it possible.

I have a full run of ROM and the limited Spaceknights comics. I also have a ROM tattoo. I love this piece.

I've almost got a full run, only missing one or two issues. Gotta double check which ones and see about rectifying that.

I used to read ROM as a kid but my friend at the time was even a bigger fan of him than I was. Great piece and thanks for the memories.
